Strategic Email Campaigns

Now, let’s really flex those copywriting muscles. Nurturing campaigns still need a shot of strategic copywriting, but they flirt more with content writing. When you’re goal is to get your audience to purchase then the writing needs to shift accordingly.

Warm audiences are those on your email list that have been engaging in specific content, opening target emails, or signing up for freebies. Cold audiences that are still on your list, but have not engaged as often or at all.

  • Problem: The client had major success launching a course… 4 years earlier. The list was outdated and they weren’t quite sure the same people would buy into the new course they were going to sell or how to attract new customers.

  • Strategy: I worked with their team on ways to get the word out about the new course on all channels: email, SMS, socials, etc. The main goal was to get their audience to sign up for the free Masterclass where they would pitch the course in the end. I created surveys for client data and an engaging free quiz that acted as a new lead generation tool. From there, we created various email campaigns targeting those who were very interested, those who bought before, and the main email list. After the Masterclass we set an expiration date in the sales email campaign, however, the biggest success happened on launch day.

  • Result: Client hit their first-ever 6-figure launch day from this course!
